Therapy Rates, Insurance, and Practice Policies
Insurance & Fees
I am an in-network provider with Aetna. If you carry an Aetna insurance plan, your sessions may be covered in full or subject to your standard specialist copay or deductible, depending on your specific policy.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
If you carry a different health insurance plan (such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, or UnitedHealthcare), you may have out-of-network benefits that can reimburse you for a significant portion of your therapy fees.
How it works: You pay for the session out-of-pocket at the time of service.
The Superbill: At the end of each month, I will provide you with a specialized clinical invoice called a superbill. You submit this document to your insurance company, and they mail a reimbursement check directly to you.
Practice Policies & Billing
When is Payment Due?
Payment is due at the time of each session.
Cancellation Policy
In order to preserve the structure and value of the therapeutic relationship, as well as to best respect each other’s time, at least 48 hours notice is required before canceling a session. If you cancel with less than 48 hours of notice and we are unable to reschedule the session for the same week, the full fee is to be paid. If a session is missed without notice, the full fee is to be paid.
